Founder Berkeley Clark came to the Studio looking for a brand identity that fit the bold and funky style of the clothing they stock. We provided a brand identity that takes a bold, playful, and fresh brand identity compared to the the minimalist approach of most of their sustainability competitors. While the copy gives it's platform to informing the consumer of the sustainability-driven side of the brand, the logo, mix of typography, and bold colors show it's buyers that it's here to disrupt the fashion industry for good.
EXPANDED LOGOKIT
Typography & Color Palette
Since Maison Disco's target market varies from young to old, we needed to have the options of turning up the playfulness and funkiness to full max but also making it a bit more mature when appropriate. When it came to the brand identity, we did this heavily through typography and the color palette.

For the typography, we brought in a select few bold, funky fonts to mix and match for headers to emulate the playful, a little retro, and unique qualities that Maison Disco wanted to bring forward. By keeping the body copy a simple and consistent sans serif, and then having a few options for header fonts to use as a scale between playful and mature, this is used as a tool to mold print pieces or social feed template towards which target market they wish to speak to for that fashion line. This was also brought to life through the color palette with the option of having bright, bold mixes as seen in the reds, pinks, and gold combos to a cleaner, mature feel with the black, cream, and gold combos.
